An electrifying combination of live theatre and pop music by Casi Wyn and Gethin Evans.
Exploring the quest for Welsh independence, this piece brings Wales’ tempestuous past to life through the story of a mother and her inquisitive child.
Old values are questioned and impulses for rebirth and change become impossible to ignore as they ask – if Wales was given the opportunity to be independent, would it really take it? And if it did, what kind of place would we want it to be?
The inspiration came on from a bus journey back from Manchester when members of the Fran Wen Young Company were ignited to start a chant about Welsh independence.
